Student Veteran Of The Month March ’17: Jacqueem Spratley

Jacqueem Spratley left Virginia to join the Army in January 2008. After graduating Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, he went on to complete Advanced Individual Training as a Signal Support Systems Specialist in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Jacqueem was first stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina as a communications systems maintainer with 192nd Ordnance Battalion (EOD) from 2008 to 2013, including a deployment to Afghanistan. He then served as a communications systems team chief with 6th Battalion, 52nd Regiment Air Defense Artillery in South Korea and finally 82nd Airborne Division back at Fort Bragg, NC before exiting service early 2015.
Jacqueem is expected to graduate Syracuse University’s iSchool this May 2017. He has been actively involved with the SVO since summer 2016 as a web designer for svosu.org.
Jacqueem plans to progress in the Linux systems administration field. Meanwhile, he blogs about open source software, Veterans’ resources, and fitness at Rallypoint.com  and his personal blog and YouTube Channel – GoLiveLively.com.
